Tree Fern, Dicksonia Antarctica.
The plant comes from tropical and subtropical forests of Central America, Australia and New Zealand. Under natural conditions, it grows up to 6 m high, while the leaves reach about 2 m in length. Dicksoni leaves grow from rhizomes, which in subsequent years, after the lower leaves will fall, will leave another layer of scales. As a result, the rhizome forms an ever-higher trunk, with umbrella-like outstretched leaves growing on its top.
Place of cultivation: Light, but not directly sunny.
Watering: The soil should be constantly moderately moist and should not dry out between watering. The trunk should be sprayed with water, which is especially important in hot weather and in low humidity in the apartment.
To emphasize its beauty, each plant should be selected individually with a unique flower pot, pot or casing available in our store.
Availability: online store - online sale, stationary store Świat Roślin Kraków ul. Zakopiańska 58
