In nature, it occurs in Tanzania and on the island of Zanzibar. Zamiokulkas grows in rocky and dry terrain, shaded by taller plants.
Place of cultivation: Zamiokulkasa should be grown in semi-shaded places, but if the lack of light is too large, the leaves will start to stretch out and will turn light green.
Watering: Does not like excessive watering, can lose leaves when flooded. It tolerates short periods of dryness.
Interesting fact: Due to the ease of cultivation, zamiokulkas has made a tremendous career, it is even called "iron plant".
