In nature, it occurs in Tanzania and on the island of Zanzibar. Zamiokulkas grows in rocky and dry terrain, shaded by taller plants. The Zenzi variety is new to the market, with thick stems, dense dark green leaves and a small stature.
Place of cultivation: Zamiokulkasa should be grown in semi-shaded places, but if the lack of light is too large, the leaves will start to stretch out and will turn light green.
Watering: Does not like excessive watering, can lose leaves when flooded. It tolerates short periods of dryness.
Interesting fact: Due to the ease of cultivation, zamiokulkas has made a tremendous career, it is even called "iron plant".
