Peperomia Prostrata

It comes from Central America, tropical South America and Jamaica.

It grows forming creeping or drooping shoots with alternating thick and oval leaves resembling turtles, hence it can sometimes be found under the name "Turtle Cord". Flask-shaped inflorescences form at the ends of the shoots.

Requirements: Peperomia likes warm and light positions, it will also grow well in partial shade.

Care: Requires optimal watering, but let the substrate dry before the next watering. We fertilize once every 2 weeks from spring to autumn. Peperomia likes a little more air humidity, so it will feel comfortable in rooms that are not completely dry in summer. In winter, we water less often. It tolerates pinching or trimming the shoots well, it stimulates it to grow and thicken its habit.

Each plant, to enhance its beauty, should be individually selected a unique pot, pot or casing available in our store.
