More info

Hoya Kerrii, Hoya Hearts.
The name hoya includes about 200 species found in Southeast Asia, New Guinea and Australia. It can be found in the form of vines or low shrubs. It is sometimes called a wax maker because of its shiny "waxed" leaves and flowers that look like they were made of wax. However, this name is reserved for another plant found in Poland. Hoja Kerrii is named after the British physicist and botanist Arthur Francis George Kerr. It comes from South China, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. It blooms in the form of white stars with a beetroot center gathered in clumps. It produces an intense fragrance during flowering.
